Special Events
From the Field Days and Greek Olympics to themed feasts and field trips, there’s always something going on at Westminster Academy.
For our younger students, it is about living history, instructive field trips, making a book come alive, building a sense of shared community, putting language study or math in “living” context or experiencing learning. Our special days and events are intentionally designed and implemented to enhance our distinctly classical, distinctly Christian educational model.
For our older students, the House System provides powerful connections to fellow house members spanning grades 7–12. Unique traditions, deep connections to the Godly examples of the house namesakes, competition throughout the year that includes everything from the arts to tug-of-war – all foster a deep connection to a shared purpose and a call to a greater purpose.
