Debbie Frazier
Head of Grammar School
BA Spanish, Wheaton College; BS Secondary Education, Wheaton College
Debbie Frazier is a graduate of Wheaton College with a B.A. in Spanish and Secondary Education. Before having children, she taught Spanish, Psychology, and Bible at a local private school. Originally her passion was for upper school, but after classically home-schooling her own 3 children for 12 years while living in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, she found a love for elementary as well. Mrs Frazier came to Westminster in 2001 as a second grade teacher. After six years of teaching, she moved into administration as Assistant Head of Lower School, becoming Head of Lower School in 2008. She remains Head of Lower School while also serving as Interim Head of School for 2014-15. Her children began attending Westminster when they moved back to Memphis and were graduates of the classes of 2001, 2004, and 2006. “Westminster has been an invaluable part of our family for 14 years, playing a foundational role in both the spiritual and intellectual formation of my children, not to mention my own continuing education. It is an incredible privilege to serve and continue lifelong learning in this community. I will be eternally grateful for how God has blessed us and used Westminster in our lives.”
Adam Woods
Head of Upper School
BA Political Science, Clemson University; M. Div., Wake Forest University
Elizabeth Perkins
Director of Admission & Marketing
BA Political Science, University of Memphis; MBA, Union University
Elizabeth joined the Westminster family in July of 2014 as the Director of Admissions. She joins us most recently from the University of Memphis, where she has been an adjunct instructor in the Fogelman College of Business and Economics. She brings a marketing and communications background to her role here at Westminster, with experience as the internal communications leader for General Electric's Capital Aviation Services division. Elizabeth has a first grader at Westminster this year, as well as a four-year old ready to follow in big sister's footsteps. "We chose Westminster as the school for our family because we fell in love with the student ambassadors that gave us our first tour. We wanted our girls to grow up to be like those young ladies - articulate, polite, winsome, and poised. Westminster graduates know not only what they believe, but why they believe it, and that's critical to us."
Holt Hall
Director of Advancement
BS Microbiology, Memphis State University; MA Executive Leadership, Christian Brothers University; Graduate Gemologist, Gemological Institute of America
Holt Hall joined Westminster Academy in June of 2009 as the Director of Institutional Advancement. With a Bachelor’s degree in Science, a Graduate’s degree in Geology and a Master’s degree in Executive and Ethical Leadership he brings over thirty years of business experience to his position. Holt and Kay enrolled their three daughters in Westminster Academy in 1997 starting in second, fourth and sixth grades back when many of the grades were combined. They graduated in 2004, 2006 and 2008. “I would enroll my children again today because of what we are doing in the classroom; training children to love the Lord and to think, reason and to discern truth.”
Kenny Shackelford
Athletic Director
Masters in Religion, Memphis Theological Seminary; Bachelor’s Degree, Recreation and Park Administration, University of Memphis
Gina Hall
BBA Accounting, Texas State University
Gina has been involved with Westminster Academy since its beginning. She graduated from Texas State University with a BBA in Accounting, and worked as a CPA in public accounting for several years in Dallas, Texas, before moving to Memphis with her husband Rick. Gina and Rick were one of the original couples that founded Westminster. They have four children, all of whom are Westminster graduates. She brings her experience in accounting and her love and passion for classical Christian education to her position, and she is grateful for the profound influence that Westminster has had in her family and in her own life.
